| SPELLS USED: N/A | | Oh man Oh man this is gonna be EXCITING! My first official mission! The young mage could barely keep himself contained as he made his way through the town with excitement, running along the rooftops like he normally would, a piece of parchment flailing around in his hand with the words: ‘Caravan Escort’ hastily written at the top of it. There weren’t a lot of missions when Ocra was inside the Guild hall, usually because the higher rank members would take some of the lower ranking ones for some quick cash while the more difficult ones were untouchable for someone of his rank. Even if the ones he were able to snag had been available they were snatched by the time he actually got into the guild hall! But oh no! Not this time! This mission was his and his alone!
Finally reaching the edge of town, the boy would leap off the rooftops and onto the trade roads, breaking into a sprint so that he could reach the closest road entrance to the Mikage Forest. As his sheathed blade bouncing around the back of his waist and his chain necklace dangled around his neck, it would be hard for anyone to ignore Ocra as he was on his way to the rendezvous point for the caravan escort. Just as the flyer had stated, there was a somewhat small caravan with only two carts attached together, flanked by a smaller and more plump looking guy who was definitely the merchant that had requested the aid of a mage. It seemed like all would be well until it seemed like there was someone else with a similar looking flyer. Undeterred though, the young Lockhardt would approach the merchant: “Hey! I’m here for the caravan escort! Are ya the quest giver?”

C-C-C-Cinnamon lips and candy kisses, on my tongue. Fun!
B-B-B-Buttery eyes, if only cries could come from those eyes. Oh! Would she even contribute to this mission? As much as she had her hopes up, Genesis felt anxious for what was to come. This was the first mission she would be taking on her own, and this time, she would have to pick up her slack. Even if she knew at some point, she had to learn to provide for herself and break her track record of contributing absolutely nothing to the jobs she would take. Now that she was working with a stranger, it was foolish to consider the possibility of letting them pick up any slack she left behind. It was about time Genesis had to start growing up. The simple task of taking a job without he aid of anything she knew would be the start of her independence.
Unlike most others, the way Genesis had learned about this job was rather embarrassing. She just so happened to pass by a town when the flyer had hit her in the face. In desperate need of cash, especially when she no longer had an allowance, she had taken the job without any second thoughts. The only reason she would take it in the first place was because of how simple it was. If she had managed to play her cards right and remained alert, maybe Genesis could avoid getting herself in any trouble. She would assume that any person she was paired up with for this task knew this as well and would put her total trust in them.
Maybe she was a bit too nervous, arriving earlier than the time stated upon the flyer. Awkwardly, she would greet the merchant who would look at her with a confused look, only for the expression to widen as she waved the parchment in his face. Regardless, he said nothing, just telling her to wait to see if anyone else would show up. Finally, after a few torturous minutes, a young man approached the two of them. She had been hiding behind one of the carts, unsure of what to do in the first place as she would wait. Hearing a new voice, Genesis would peer her head over one of the carts before making her way to the front. The only greeting she would give was a simple "hi" and a smile, unsure of what else to say. She had only hoped that the mission would ease some of her distress. | Ocra | notes: | Magic Power: 10 |

| SPELLS USED: N/A | | Ocra’s excitement and anticipation turned to disappointment and disillusionment once he had seen the girl who had a flyer in her hands, well aware of what that meant: he was beaten to the punch. A childish pout came onto his face as he came closer, immediately talking to the merchant quest giver about the job and after a few minutes his saddened mood shot right back up again after realizing that he was still going to be able to take the job AND get paid the same amount as advertised! Balling his fist with a grin, the young mage was extremely excited that he was just about to embark on his first quest. Turning his attention toward the other mage that would be his partner for this whole escort mission, he waved his hand rapidly at her to the point where it would almost become a blur, the boy’s blood boiling at the possible adventure. “Hey hey! What’s your name? My name’s Ocra! Are you a part of a guild or one of those wandering mages? I’m from Sabertooth! You must D-rank too right, I mean you would have to be if you wanted to take on this quest!”
Climbing atop one of the carts, Ocra would hold his hand out toward the mage to help them up, immediately continuing his rapid fire questions from before. “So what kinda magic do you do? I use Gravity magic, it’s not all that impressive but it’s really fun to mess around with! I still haven’t figured out the Gravity Change spell though, all I can really do is the fundamentals ya know?” As they talked, the caravan would begin its journey through the Mikage Forest, and toward whatever danger lies within…

C-C-C-Cinnamon lips and candy kisses, on my tongue. Fun!
B-B-B-Buttery eyes, if only cries could come from those eyes. Oh! At least he was lively. That enough was able to put some ease onto her mind. Genesis had been worried about who the people she would be working with would be like: perhaps mean, quiet, angry, or all of the above as she had originally been dreading. Someone who was outgoing like this would place a smile on her face as she tried to put her best foot forward. Still, it was difficult to get a word in, especially when he just kept talking. Well, she could just speak but he did seem to be enjoying himself so much that she couldn't just interrupt him here. May as well let him say what he wanted before she would say something as well. Once the other mage, Ocra, would finish his words Genesis hastily did her best to look as professional as possible. She was a strong, capable mage just like he was and as long as she believed in this everything would be fine, right?
"M-my name is Genesis." She began. Internally she would wince at the fact she had already stumbled over her words. That was a great first impression. Nonetheless, she would continue. "I'm not with any guild, just on my own, although it's really cool that you're in one! I just dunno if I should join one yet, and I guess you can say that although I dunno the systems really well." Her mind raced, trying to remember each of the questions that he asked. There was just so much to respond to and even a few terms she hardly knew. But there was no turning back now! She could learn on the way just like how she always did.
As he would climb onto one of the carts, Genesis would try to do the same. It was a bit difficult due to the height difference, however she would manage to eventually pull herself on top, especially with the help of Ocra which she graciously accepted with a kind smile. Maybe there was really nothing she should worry about around him."Thanks." She said before trying to respond back to his words. It was always interesting to hear about the other types of magic they had. "What's gravity? It sounds really neat" She asked, curious of the foreign word. Genesis really did like hearing more about magic, although her limited knowledge about the world made it difficult to understand it to its full extent. "And for me, I don't really know how to explain it but I call it Water Dragon Slayer magic." She offered quickly, trying to distract him from the fact she didn't understand what gravity was. Maybe that enough would distract him from that fact. | Ocra | notes: | Magic Power: 10 |
