[attr="class","opmindtop2"]MISSIONS ARE DETAILED HERE
[attr="class","opmindblurb"]
[attr="class","opmindblurb1"]Missions are a mainstay in the Fairy Tail series, and you’ll be able to take missions here on Fairy Tail: Breakthrough as well. Making and completing missions are simple. First, fill out the mission template and post the mission in the mission board for approval. Once your missions is approved, you may go ahead and start your mission. Then, do the required amount of posts in order to complete the mission and then submit the completed thread for jewel collection. You can only do missions of your class or lower. You are able to do a mission one rank higher than their class if you have someone of the appropriate class accompanying you (example -- a C-Class mage can go on a B-Class mission if a B-Class mage goes along with them). Also, the required posts in order to complete a mission are PER PERSON, not altogether.
Solo missions are allowed. However, if you are caught spamming solo missions, staff has every right to ask you to stop. If the offense is bad enough, your solo mission privileges will be stripped away from you.
D-Class - While these missions require combat, there is very little danger associated with them at all. D-Class missions are usually given to beginner mages because the missions themselves don’t take much to get done. D-Class missions are things like apprehending a petty thief, acting as a bouncer at a club and looking for someone’s lost cat in a forest. D-Class missions take five posts to complete and reward 2,500J upon completion.
C-Class - Here is where legitimate magical and physical exertion happens. C-Class missions are a step up from D-Class missions both in difficulty and danger. Even so, these missions are still very do-able and generally aren’t life-threatening. Things like acting as a bodyguard for a traveling party, stealing something from a lightly guarded facility or apprehending a C-Class criminal would be deemed C-Class missions. C-Class missions take ten posts to complete and reward 5,000J upon completion.
B-Class - Now, missions become life-threatening. There has to be an actual chance of death for a mission to be considered B-Class. Now, you’re doing things that are putting your life and well-being at risk such as going into ruins in order to retrieve a magical artifact, fighting powerful mages, beasts and monsters, protecting important political figures that may be targeted by assassins or perhaps even conducting a low-profile assassination yourself. B-Class missions take fifteen posts to complete and reward 7,500J upon completion.
A-Class - A-Class missions are extremely dangerous; these are not missions mages take on a daily basis due to the high risk of injury, maiming and death. Battling mythical creatures and infamous mages, infiltrating a highly guarded facility and high-profile assassinations are only a few things that can be asked of you from an A-Class mission. One thing is for sure: these missions must be very dangerous. A-Class missions take twenty posts to complete and reward 10,000J upon completion.
S-Class - These missions are generally considered impossible to complete; they are so difficult and dangerous that even the smallest mistake can spell out the end of your life. S-Class missions involve tasks like defeating legendary creatures and mages and destroying a (NPC) guild, but if it’s anything ridiculous and pretty much suicidal, you can count on it being a S-Class mission. Truly, only the strongest mages can even hope to survive missions like these. S-Class missions take thirty posts to complete and reward 15,000J upon completion.
10 Year/100 Year - If you thought S-Class missions were ridiculous, then 10 Year and 100 Year missions make S-Class missions look relaxing. These missions are so ridiculous and dangerous that they have been available for ten/hundred years without a single mage being able to complete them. The objectives with 10/100 Year missions include going after dragons, powerful demons, gods, and legendary mages. It’s a miracle if you even survive the first five minutes of the mission itself -- let alone come back in one piece. You must be at AT LEAST S-Class to even be eligible to take these missions. You CANNOT complete 10 Year missions without sustaining serious injuries. You CANNOT complete 100 Year missions without sustaining GRIEVOUS injuries, injuries so devastating that they require very powerful magic to heal. 10 Year missions take forty posts to complete while 100 Year missions take fifty posts to complete. 10 Year missions reward 50,000J upon completion while 100 Year missions reward 100,000J upon completion.
