Ozer stood at a fountain amidst the center of town, holding the flier for the posted job. From the thorough intel they've gathered, the foes they were to face on this quest were well within operational parameters for their current combative ability. Another was even accompanying them on top of that to cover any unexpected deviations from the original assessment of danger. All that was left to do was meet up with them and head over to the mission objective. That said, it was late in the day, and there was no actual specified time that they were to meet up at other than "tomorrow", so Ozer figured they would wait by the fountain until they were located. Hours would pass, the sun would come up, and the town would rouse from its sleep while the Golem stood perfectly still, remaining undisturbed or unperturbed by external stimuli that weren't relevant to the mission objective. For the most part they were left alone but occasionally kids would come up and try to get a reaction from them. Even a thief tried to approach for what looked like an easy target until Ozer gave him quite the startle with their sudden stirring to life and grasping his hand in their pocket with a grip that nearly crushed his wrist. All in all a perfectly normal way to wait for someone, right? Genesis

C-C-C-Cinnamon lips and candy kisses, on my tongue. Fun!
B-B-B-Buttery eyes, if only cries could come from those eyes. Oh! Genesis had never been a fan of spiders. Too many eyes, too many legs, and would always skitter around. While her arachnophobia was better than it had been when she was younger, they were all still quite off-putting to the young mage. But she would push aside her discomfort for a job, especially during her time of need. Being picky was no longer a luxury she had. She now lived by the motto of beggars can't be choosers, although such a saying never said she couldn't complain.
After dreading the entire journey there, mind racing with fear and anxiety, she had already forgotten about any nervousness in the first place about being useful. From the flyer, it did just say they were spiders, right? (Well Genesis hoped that they were just spiders and nothing else.) How hard could it even be to kill a few creepy-crawlers, as big or giant as they would be?
Maybe this was going to be a lot harder than she originally anticipated.
But there was no going back now! Nope! Genesis had already made up her mind and was going to follow through with this to the end. Besides, she was already halfway there. Going back now would only be a waste of effort. Maybe, she would luck out and have another partner come with her on this mission.
She had arrived at the town in the early morning like she always would. There was no point in being late and it was honestly better if Genesis had gotten it over with as soon as possible anyways. She had been told to meet the person she was working with at a fountain, one that took her a very short period of time to find. However, all she could see was some strange being there. Genesis would not disturb them, believing that they were not who she was looking for. Instead, she would stand there, holding the flyer as she would await for her partner to come and introduce themselves. | Ozer Magnus | notes: | Magic Power: 10 |
