Otherworldly and foreign to those that hold their attention on him for more than a single moment at a time, Cionaodh appears to be torn straight from the myths of gods and demons alike. He holds little resemblance to an average person, making him remarkably easy to identify in a crowd; Look for pointed ears and hair that is seemingly catches sunlight in all the right ways, and you'll have him located in a matter of minutes... Or, by chance, you might be able to locate him based off of the blatant as hell wings stretching out from his back. These large constructs have a 16 foot wingspan, and are red in coloration.
Despite his abnormalities, he has tried to blend into society more as time has gone on: He wears clothing several sizes too big for him in order to properly hide his markings from the public, and - additionally - from fellow knights. Though he cannot hide everything, he can certainly try.

NAME: Archangel

DESCRIPTION: The wilderness raised him and, in his current form, it protects him. 'Archangel' is the embodiment of everything Cionaodh loathes about his existence and heritage - but, given his situation, is the only thing he can truthfully rely on in combat. Archangel gifts Cionaodh the ability to harden his feathers by a remarkable degree, as well as send them off in swarms in order to defend himself on the battlefield.
Thanks to this, Cionaodh can send his feathers off in swarms, utilize them as weapons, or otherwise utilize them in combat with some degree of ease. As he's just starting to truthfully experiment with his heritage and still has reservations about using his feathers in general, he's not a master yet. He commonly uses his wings to fly from place to place to save time.
DRAWBACKS: Cion's magic is a tricky sort. While his feathers have a heightened durability, that doesn't mean they're indestructible - and, once a feather is destroyed, it's gone. He can typically regrow feathers with a good night's rest, but he can't exactly conk out in the middle of combat. If all of his feathers are destroyed, then he's up shit's creek without a paddle.
While he does use his feathers to fly from place to place commonly, he can only fly as fast as he can run without utilizing his magic to go faster. Likewise, when just using his wings to fly casually, they don't actually possess any hardened qualities. It's only when he uses his magic to enhance his wings that he can fly faster and actually do something on combat aside from watching someone from the air.
On that note, he's often incredibly tired after fights. Cionaodh is a speed fighter, not a stamina fighter: His best bet is to get someone down in the first few attacks before he can grow too tired. Constantly using his spells can cause him to become not lightheaded, but drowsy. The more he uses his magic, the more likely it is that he'll fall asleep or have difficulty thinking clearly thanks to the exhaustion settling in over him.
As Cionaodh's wings are actual wings, they are remarkably fragile. A well aimed blow can snap one, causing him no shortage of mind-numbing pain. He can't just heal his wings, after all. The second one is broken, he's immediately unable to use not only that wing, but the entire collective of feathers located on that wing until it can be healed. His wings are his greatest asset in a fight thanks to their ability to defend himself and his allies, but they're also his largest weakness. Damage done to his wings causes him a large amount of pain, so he has to be extra careful with in a fight to avoid as much as possible.

DESCRIPTION: His top speed strike. By gaining altitude with his casual flight and utilizing his magic on his dive, Cion can combine the speed gained from his descent with the natural burst from his enhanced wings. As he approaches his enemy, he plucks two feathers and utilizes them as hardened swords against his foes. The wounds from these slashes are littered in bits of his feathers, making them extra tedious to clean out or repair if someone isn't prepared for them.

DESCRIPTION: By utilizing his magic to enhance his feathers, Cion can launch them out in a burst of red. This creates a mess of red meant to knock back any foes that come into contact with it, effectively putting distance between Cion and his opponents. As this move directly means he's losing a large amount of feathers, he cannot use it when casually in flight.

DESCRIPTION: His enhanced feathers catch the light in just the right way when he positions his wings in a certain manner, causing a bright burst of red directly in front of Cion. This burst blinds those who see it, allowing Cion to get the drop on them. He often uses this to disorientate enemies that survive his initial onslaught.

DESCRIPTION: An inherent ability from his family line. Red Legacy is the release of his feathers in a circular and almost ritualistic manner around Cion himself and anyone standing directly near him. This feathers create an essential hurricane of red around him that does its damndest to block oncoming attacks. The feathers return to him after this spell runs its course - assuming they aren't destroyed while acting as his shield, of course.
