Rumi is a lean man in his late-20's possessing a thin frame. His skin is medium shade of brown, while wild, wiry afro is a reddish-brown. Although he is a wizard, most wouldn't be able to guess it from his everyday clothes, which consist of business casual shirts paired with slacks and sometimes a tie. His appearance isn't very up kept, appearing always at a level of distress. He possess old tattoos across the length of his body, numbers with no discernible pattern to their placement. If one were to count starting from 1, they would find the last number to be 23. He also possesses five scars lining his face, the largest crossing the bridge of his nose.





On the surface, Rumi comes off initially as a pretty laid back guy. He has an air of calm about him that tends to disarm others, and he is a good source for humor both in and out of situations where it is needed. He shows a lot of pride and loyalty for his guild and his guild mates, being liable to defend them to his last breathe if needed. His humor leads to his optimism, and he tries to see the bright side, even when isn't immediately clear.

Spend enough time with him though, and a darker side of him begins to present itself. Whether this is his true personality, or just an side effect of his magic, Rumi's other side is one of a selfish man, who only puts forth effort for others when it benefits him in the end. His pride and loyalty for his guild mixes to create volatile form of cockiness, where he believes no others, whether they be bandits, other magic guilds, Rune Knights, or even the Magic Council, are their equals. In combat he is sadistic towards enemy suffering, enjoying their moments of pain and defeat.

He enjoys performances by actors, circuses, and most of all, magicians, being stunned by the illusion of magic more than the actual use of it. He is a social alcoholic, never straying to far from a open pub or tavern is it's in his power. He hates those that lie or go back on their word, and has an intense dislike of other magic guilds and their mages.



Rumi Braxxon was found found by mages of Raven Tail as toddler while they were on an B-Rank quest to exterminate a of cultists that'd been kidnapping people for sacrifices to their god. After they'd killed the last of the cultists, the trio of mages began looking their hideout, an old castle keep tucked into the forests. Among the assortment of usual items, such as jewels, magical items, and tomes, they found him, tucked away within a chest oddly enough, along with a bloodied knife, a lacrima, a magic tome, and a fresh scar on the bridge of his nose.

Taken by the mages back to the guild, where he was taken in by one of the older members of the guild. The old man was called Delson, and raised Rumi like he was his grandchild, even giving him his last name, Braxxon. His childhood wasn't a difficult one, growing up among the guildmembers, who as a whole treated him like a little brother. It was no wonder, then, that he dreamed of becoming a mage and an official member, so that he could start repaying those who'd taken him in.

When he was 10, he snuck into Delson's study within their home and found the tome that had been discovered with him when he was a a toddler. Something seemed to pull him to the book, his body resonating with whatever magic it held within it. When Delson discovered him, something reacted, and he cast a spell off of pure reaction, striking the old man with a crimson lightning bolt. Rushing over to his adoptive grandfather, the last look he saw in the old man's eyes were ones of surprise, before the light faded. Something odd would happen next, as a spot on his arm began to glow, painlessly burning into his skin the number '1'.

Though no one outwardly blamed him for Delson's death, Rumi harbored an inner guilt for the act, secretly disturbed by the brief jolt of excitement that traveled through him when he cast the spell. He was then taken in by another mage, Felix, who unlike Delson, was a harsh parental figure, strict in his methods and lessons. He trained Rumi in his magic both to prevent another accident from happening, and to turn him into a powerful force for the guild, seeing potential in his magic. By 18, Rumi was a C-Rank mage of Raven Tail, taking on jobs regularly for the guild.

At seemingly random points in his life, the numbered tattoos would continue to appear on his body, such if he was conducting an extermination job, or serving as a bodyguard for someone. The numbers continued to grow over the years, until they reached the current count of 23. By 25, he'd gained a bit of prominence in Fiore, becoming known as the 'Crimson Raven of Raven Tail', both for his signature magic and his brutality when it came to combat.

NAME: Crimson Thunder

DESCRIPTION: Crimson Thunder is an ancient sub-type of Lightning Magic created the Purgatory Storm Cult. The cultists used sacrifices of blood in order to receive powers from their god, which came in the form of the ability to perform powerful lightning magic with extreme destructive potential. It was discernible from others due to the deep crimson color it took on. Crimson Thunder is magic specialized to utter destruction and obliteration, designed to inflict the maximum amount of damage onto a target.
DRAWBACKS: Perhaps intended as an additional payment for such power, Crimson Thunder affects it's user in several different ways. When in use, it heightens the dark and sadistic side of their personalities, influencing them to use it to it's full capability, no matter who or what stands in their path. The magic is also a double-edged sword, producing pain in the user's body whenever it is cast. Both these factors force the user to take care in how and when they use it.

DESCRIPTION: The user creates a magic seal, from which [10] spears of red lightning will form. The user is able to propel these javelins at a target at will. They are capable of causing deep lacerations and second degree burns in on targets, as well as destroying entire sections of buildings individually. The spears last [3] posts before dissipating if not used. The spell has a [3] post cool down.


NAME: Crimson Thunder Judgement

DESCRIPTION: The user raises their hand, firing a bolt of red lightning into the sky. The lightning will coalesce and expand, creating a storm cloud, from which a crimson lightning serpent shall emerge. With the command word, "Guilty", the serpent will descend towards the user's target. The serpent is capable of destroying entire buildings, causing major environmental damage, and causing major craters in the ground. If directly hit, targets will receive damage like cracked bones, deep lacerations, and second degree burns. The spell has a AoE radius of [25] meters. The serpent is able to be retained for [3] posts if not used. The spell has a [3] post cool down.


NAME: Crimson Thunder Domain
TYPE: Offensive

MODS: DoT, AoE, Affliction (Deafness), Elemental Damage (Lightning)
DESCRIPTION: The user creates a magic seal on the ground that expands to an area of [30] meters. While within the Thunder Domain, anyone other than the user will be targeted by lightning strikes, causing B-Rank damage over the course of [4] posts, causing 2nd degree burns. The strikes also cause deafness in those in the area for [3] posts. The spell has a [3] post cool down.


NAME: Body of the Crimson Raijin

DESCRIPTION: The user converts their body into red lightning, which grants them enhanced speed and agility. They are able to virtually teleport to a location within [20] meters of them once per post, as well as gain the ability of flight at a speed rivaling that of a cheetah, while the spell is active. The spell lasts [4] posts. The spell has a [4] post cool down.
