Despite his deceptively slim appearance upon first glance, Glacio's compact frame boasts bulging muscles from a lifetime of grueling training from his father ever since he was rescued from freezing to death as a child. He is built for an equal balance of speed and power like a naturally battle-seasoned warrior. His appearance has also attracted a lot of unwanted attention, and he is mistaken for being nearly unapproachable by most because he has a very stoic resting face like a delinquent that could also be mistaken for him looking sad.

Glacio has always been unique with his light blue hair and teal colored eyes, but his training and overuse of his Dragon Slayer magic has caused a permanent acceleration to his mutation into a dragon, however minimal. He appears no less human than anyone else on the surface, but he now has very sharp elongated fangs that help him consume large amounts of ice easier, he'll sometimes start to "shed" small patches of snow white dragon scales at varying places of his body, and he already has a couple small white horns growing in the back of his head that his hair is fortunately still able to completely cover for the time being.








Having grown up until his mid-teens exclusively on Mt. Hakobe with the Ice Dragon Fafnir as his adoptive father and teacher, Glacio is a hardened warrior with a pack hunter mentality. Therefore, it is only natural for him to carry out the orders and missions given to him without hesitation and selflessly put the needs of Sabertooth above his own like a model soldier. While it is true that Glacio will accept any challenge that comes his way, he is seldom an instigator of fights unless it is deemed absolutely necessary to the mission or protecting a comrade.

He is also known to treat others as cold as ice when he is angered into a silent rage like a blizzard. Although he may become easily irritated, he usually is able to remain calm and collected with dignity. Glacio is also very respectful towards others and speaks softly in typical conversation as if he were laid back, even when it comes to having a few discussions over drinks. It is also erroneous to believe that he is the typical battle maniac because he is an educated intellectual that was raised to read and write runes and the old ways from the time of the Old Gods long past, ingrained in him by Fafnir himself.

Glacio is of the simple belief that all beings born with the gift of the spoken word are all brothers and sisters born from the same source, long before the first seed was sown upon Earthland; connected by the primordial balance of nature, and believes that one can truly emotionally fill themselves by bonding with others and becoming one with nature spiritually and accepting and nurturing the wild nature inside each individual. He is of the mindset that evil in the world must be faced head on, but he also believes that Gods, Dragons, and Demons are not inherently good or evil; rather, they have the capacity to choose their own path and destiny where coexistence is always a plausible and sustainable option, should that choice be made by said individual at any given moment.

The real monsters are those who would wish ill will and misfortune upon others for their own benefit and enjoyment.





Glacio has no recollection of his life before he was rescued and nursed back to health by the Ice Dragon Fafnir, but he was born in a small family of travelling nomads that lacked any real magic of any kind that pilgrimaged to Mt. Hakobe in hopes of consuming the magical herb that grew on the mountain, only to be killed one-by-one by the Vulcans. The only true reason that the young man now known as Glacio was spared the massacre just happened to be the embarrassing fact that he became disoriented by the blizzard and ended up collapsing unconscious into the snow after succumbing to the cold.

His first memory he could recall was waking up on a beautiful glass floor unlike any he had ever seen. No, it wasn't glass. The floor, the walls, columns, ceiling; all of it was made of thick clear ice, flawless and perfect. When he sat up, he was frozen in fear when he realized that he was in the lair of the towering pure white Ice Dragon watching over him. There was no escape for him and he honestly believed that he was going to be the Dragon's next meal, but his fears were put to ease when Fafnir explained to him that he wouldn't bring harm him after he had just brought him in from the cold.

However, when Fafnir asked him for his name, the six year-old boy conceded that he couldn't remember anything before waking up. Upon hearing that the little bluenette had no memory to recall, Fafnir declared that his name from this moment onward would be Glacio Crystallum and that he would study under him as his son. Fafnir then showed him around his lair that was more like a palace, and showed him where he would sleep before taking Glacio to a fast room filled with ice crystal deposits. The Ice Dragon then proceeded to shatter the crystal with the immense strength of his tail before commanding the bluenette to eat the ice. Granted, Glacio was already very hungry anyway as he sat on his knees and ate a piece the size of an apple.

To the boy's surprise, the ice was made from purest liquid water he had ever tasted in his life. With tears of happiness streaming from the corners of his eyes, Glacio started to stuff his face with the ice as he felt a power rising through his body that was not there before. Fafnir was very amused by Glacio's appetite and immediately began teaching on training his son to be an Ice Dragon Slayer, occasionally taking breaks to consume more ice or go hunting outdoors on occasion.

Throughout the years that passed, in addition to his training, Glacio was told the old tales of the Gods before their perpetual twilight at the hands of the humans. Along with these stories, Fafnir personally taught Glacio how to write and interpret runes and magic seals as a supplement to his Slayer Magic.

Although he had a happy upbringing with Fafnir, after a decade of using the magic a little bit more than he should have, he slowly but surely started to exhibit small cosmetic changes to his own body as temporary patches of Ice Dragon scales that went away with time or gingerly peeling off. Little did he know, even after joining Sabertooth with new clothes along with a sword and a custom Miniature Lacrima, that the damage was already done and his transformation would only continue to progress over the next eight years as his magic steadily became stronger.

One positive thing that did come out of his slight overuse of the Slayer Magic was that his physical aging has slowed down a considerable amount so that he outwardly appears as a youthful teen despite having freshly achieved full manhood in the last couple of years. Although there isn't much he can do about his fangs, Glacio has been able to successfully cover up the white horns growing in the back of his head with his short mane of blue hair as a measure to not give others the erroneous impression that he's a Demon in sheep's clothing. As a C-ranked Mage, he still does missions for Sabertooth and will go out of his way to help out the other Mages underneath him in rank on their missions as backup.

NAME: Ice Dragon Slayer
TYPE: Lost

DESCRIPTION: Dragon Slayer magic is an ancient type of magic, originally held exclusively by dragons before they would later pass their art down to their pupils or through the use of special Dragon Lacrimas. Having been taught this form of magic grants Glacio full control over ice and the ability to solidify vapor and liquid water into frozen solids as he so pleases, even using the frozen solids he has already consumed. This Dragon Slayer magic specializes in creating constructs for strategic use while also boasting precision attacks and being very useful in immobilizing targets. Some constructs can even be controlled telekinetically by their creator during specific situations.

However, it isn't very efficient in providing support to other party members, and the constructs are only as durable and powerful as the person that creates them. This magic gives Glacio natural resistance to ice magic and also some added resistance to water magic. On the other side of the coin, this magic is very vulnerable to fire magic and will most likely render all offensive and defensive spells ineffective. It is possible for Glacio to regain his energy and heal himself by a minimal amount by consuming vast amounts of ice. For a substantial effect, he'd have to consume at least half of his body weight in ice.
DRAWBACKS: Like all Dragon Slayers, Glacio suffers from debilitating severe motion sickness when he is travelling by any form of vehicle or craft made by man. Additionally, extensive overuse will result in a spurt of rapid dragonization that could cause Glacio to permanently transform into a dragon and loosing all sense of his current self.

NAME: Ice Dragon's Roar
TYPE: Offensive

DESCRIPTION:  The most basic of Glacio's arsenal of spells, he inhales deeply and concentrates a large amount of ice into his cheeks until they swell like a pufferfish and a magical light blue seal with the face of a dragon appears in front of his face before he releases all of the arctic wind, snow, and ice from his mouth in a mighty roar.

The icy wind will cause the ground to begin to freeze and there's a chance that the enemy will find their movements restricted for one turn. Additionally, small fragments of ice resembling shards of glass will create several small lacerations that are by no means fatal, but could prove to be problematic over time.


NAME: Ice Dragon's Flail
TYPE: Offensive

DESCRIPTION:  An offshoot of the Ice Dragon's Roar that wraps cold vaporized ice wrapped all the way down his arm, and Glacio swings his arm upwards quickly as if he were swinging an object underhand the result is a wave of rapidly expanding ice stalagmites that is capable of dealing B-rank damage to the desired target while also freezing parts of the ground that were exposed to the wave.


NAME: Ice Dragon's Crystal Arms

DESCRIPTION: One of a few spells that are actually Glacio's own invention through experimentation of his magic. With this spell, arctic air spins around him in a circle and thirteen different weapons made out of crystal clear ice are immediately created out of his sheer willpower and they will float around him until he decides to swap weapon types. If one weapon should break, however, the rest will disintegrate into frozen snow. Despite their inherent fragility, these arms magically heal Glacio's body by the same amount of damage they inflict upon a foe.

NAME: Ice Dragon's Frost

DESCRIPTION: The other spell that Glacio has invented himself, and it is activated simply by allowing himself to be completely covered in a dense suit of armor made of ice and frost that repels half of the damage he is dealt by his opponent before it disintegrates into icy snow.
