[attr="class","opmindblurb1"]The Ten Wizard Saints and Scourges are a collection of the strongest mages in all of Fiore. There are Ten Wizard Saints and ten Scourges respectively, and it’s possible for characters to acquire these positions ICly.[break]

WIZARD SAINTS

The Wizard Saints are ten incredibly powerful Mages recognized by the Magic Council for their prowess, skill and heroic deeds. They are said to be the strongest mages in all of Ishgar, enough to where it is said that one Wizard Saint is capable of taking down scores of mages singlehandedly.[break][break]It is also said that if two Wizard Saints were to battle, it would create a “cataclysm”. Mages considered heroes are eligible of becoming Wizard Saints, but the feat itself is not easy. After all, Wizard Saints are known for their strength and their accomplishments, meaning that the candidate in question must have done enough to earn this prestigious title.[break][break]Even mages affiliated with dark guilds are able to become Wizard Saints if they renounce their allegiance with whatever dark guild they are with. All the Wizard Saints are ranked in strength from 1st to 10th with the top four Wizard Saints being dubbed the “Four Gods of Ishgar”.[break][break][break]

SCOURGES

The Scourges are ten extremely powerful Mages recognized all over Earthland for the unreal terror that they inflict upon the world. The Magic Council labels the Scourges as one of the biggest dangers to society and the entire world. Some of the most heinous acts imaginable have been committed by the Scourges: destroying entire cities, mass killings, smuggling and trafficking and more.[break][break]The Scourges are said to be the embodiments of pure evil, and while many want to bring them to justice, very few are capable of standing up to a Scourge’s might. Any mage either in a dark guild or with a criminal background can be labeled a Scourge.[break][break]A Scourge could even be a member of a Legal or Independent Guild. However, in this case, the Magic Council will pressure the guild in question to oust the Scourge. If the guild refuses, the Magic Council will swiftly label the guild a Dark Guild. The four strongest Scourges are called the “Four Furies”.[break][break]

BECOMING A WIZARD SAINT OR SCOURGE

To become either a Wizard Saint or Scourge, you must be at least A-Class. Next, you will have to provide an explanation, complete with thread links, as to why you should become a Wizard Saint or Scourge. Remember that these positions are recognized either for their great heroism or villainy. Giving D-Class jobs as examples are not a good idea. You should have had a noticeable effect on the site and the IC world in order to have one of these positions. Present your case to staff, and if approved, staff will add you to the Wizard Saints or Scourge roster.[break][break]

Wizard Saints and Scourges are able to challenge other Wizard Saints or Scourges for their positions. For example, if a Wizard Saint wants to take a God of Ishgar position, they are able to challenge one of the existing Gods of Ishgar if they wish. If the challenge is declined, then the challenged forfeits their position by default. Combat between Wizard Saints works on the honor system; they typically do not try to kill or maim their challengers. If they do, then their position as Wizard Saint can immediately be stripped from them. However, when it comes to Scourges, it’s not so nice. Among them, anything goes.[break][break]

Whenever someone is challenged, they cannot be challenged again for their position for a month. If you challenge someone for their position, you cannot challenge anyone for another month.
